My recent trip to Los Angeles (Claremont) for the Food/Media/Crisis workshop at Pomona College provided an opportunity to test out the new Lumix LX-10 camera we have at the studio. I'm definitely still getting the hang of how to use it effectively, but I'm really looking forward to incorporating more photography into our practice moving forward. Above is a small selection of photos I took during the trip, including a visit to Joshua Tree National Park.
The workshop itself was a great experience, resulting in some very interesting and fruitful conversations. We'll be working towards a small, collaborative, publication that documents the workshop and extends the questions we were addressing in the near future.
