The platform features wide-ranging content created by Indigenous writers, artists, activists, filmmakers, scholars, and knowledge keepers, from nations and communities across Turtle Island.

Africa As A Dream That Travels Through My Heart is the first of a collection of three books by Montréal poet Jason Blackbird Selman. The book uses music (Soul, Reggae, Spoken Word, Hip Hop, Jazz) as a trigger for writing and explores themes of diaspora, the current climate of civil rights, love, and the realities of being a new husband and father.

World (War) Music International Incorporated Inc. is a revolutionary new music label featuring the “next-level talents of extremely well integrated visible minorities”. The label launched in October 2015 by collaborating with/supporting the VIVA! Art Action performance festival, mobilizing a guerilla marketing campaign and premiering a five minute tour trailer music video/short film.

Visual identity and communications materials for the 5th edition of VIVA! Art Action. The festival brings together nine Montreal artist-run centres within a collaborative platform to showcase risk-taking artistic practices including performance, public intervention, relational projects, body art, happenings and furtive action.
Al Jazeera’s Life on Hold is an expansive and immersive web documentary about the struggle of Syrian refugees in Lebanon. Through a series of intimate character portraits showcasing first-person stories and impressions of their day to day lived experience, the website highlights the human story behind the deafening numbers of the Syrian refugee crisis.
The website also features interactive artwork created by Syrian artist Tammam Azzam, exploring the concept of memory and identity. In turn, Tammam’s artwork acts as a canvas for the public to leave messages for the individual refugees.

Visual identity update and website design for the activist film collective Épopée.
Design and illustrations for a legal research report on unjust Rental Board delays produced by Project Genesis. The report reveals the inherent bias of the Board in favour of landlords, and against tenants.
The use of coloured stock allowed us to add visual interest and clarify the content while keeping printing costs low.
One of the key strategic components of the Unite Against Austerity campaign is to encourage diverse communities and groups to create connections and build solidarity between struggles. This was reflected in the design through the creation of modular design elements and a simple and clear visual language.
For May Day 2015 in Toronto, artist–activist Ryan Hayes reached out to us, and we provided visual and typographic assets for the organising comittee to use in their mobilisation materials. Mary and Jesse from Justseeds organised a screenprinting workshop as part of Mayworks, collectively producing hundreds of placards, posters, and bandanas.

Documentation of the Artivistic collective’s transition into #postlife. As part of this process the collective killed its website, dissolved its non-profit organization and closed it’s bank account, and began inventing new ways to support each other in becoming awesome and dangerous together.

A conceptual T-shirt design and editorial obliquely addressing the contemporary conditions of precarity and anxiety in relation to capitalism. The shirts are paired with a copy of the We are all very anxious zine and distributed together in limited editions, linking the two in order to experiment with fashion as a carrier for critique.
A zine edition of the Institiute for Precarious Consciousness’ important and timely text We are all very anxious, discussing the affective dimensions of capitalism, popular movements in relation/resistance to these, and strategies for the contemporary situation. Paired with The Precari-Tee project as an experiment with fashion as a carrier of critique.

In contemporary Australia the words ‘country’, ‘decolonisation’, ‘family’ and ‘law’ are loaded with meanings that differ greatly from person to person across this nation’s Aboriginal and migrant communities.
As part of Memefest 2014, we developed a collaborative project that explored this diversity while also challenging people's (and our own) understanding of the terms through a four-part publication and street poster series.

As part of Memefest 2014, these posters and badges were created to provide the Brisbane Aboriginal Sovereign Embassy and their allies with strong visual iconography to assert the aboriginal presence within Brisbane's urban landscape specifically, as well as other Australian cities by extension.

Memefest 2014—Radical Intimacies: Dialogue in our Time took place in Melbourne and brought together international artists, activists, academics and local community members for a 3 day extradisciplinary symposium and workshop. The workshop focused on critically addressing issues facing aboriginal groups, the struggle for aboriginal rights from a decolonial context and challenging the forced removals of children from the community.

Intimate Distance is a limited edition newsprint zine that presents a selection of photographs by Montréal-based photographer Vo Thien Viet. Thien’s photography played a crucial role on the front lines during the student protests in Québec in 2012. This collection proposes a transition, a more subtle and personal documentation of moments that make up a politically engaged life.
This graphic was originally conceived as a solidarity statement with the people of Ferguson and their right to resist police oppression, to challenge the dominant media narrative and its reasoning of the riots. With further development, the series acts as a generalised critique of the liberal mindset, and as positive, flowering even, encouragement for those who critically oppose it.
It was also adapted as a supporting graphic for Memefest 2014, the theme of which, Radical Intimacies: Dialogue in Our Times, matched well with the intentions of the design.

Poster series designed to visualise opposition to the proposed Québec Charter of Values. The posters were distributed through a network of feminist artist-run centres, wheatpasted in the street and used in public demonstrations.
Visual identity development and brand positioning for the studio. The simplicity of the logo belies more complex meanings by altering the traditional (Western) reading direction and locking up bled-off the canvas. The bottom left positioning itself is a subtle political statement.
The presence of the tagline as a central part of the visual identity reaffirms the studio’s expertise and its purpose.

Issue thirteen of Four Minutes to Midnight, a collaborative, experimental, literary arts zine. The issue emerges out of the experience of the Québec Student Strike, but is not specifically “about” it, acting more as a reflection on 10 years of community organising, designing and publishing, making music, and strolling through gentrifying neighbourhoods in opposition to neoliberal capitalism.
Screening Truth to Power celebrates 10 years of Cinema Politica, collecting essays, interviews and top documentary lists by filmmakers, academics and activists that have supported the network over the years.

Guest edited issue 36-1 of Fuse Magazine with the Artivistic collective, reflecting on the Quebec student strikle, education and social struggle. A key graphic element was a series of typographic illustrations illustrating slogans used during the strike.

Artivistic's Promiscuous Infrastructures (Phase II) exhibition at Skol. The exhibition materialised and exploded our creative research on infrastructures into the space, creating a temporary print studio, reading room/lending library, a slightly ominous meeting space and convivial dining room.
Given the political context of the exhibition/research, PI2 extended into the streets, and also brought "the street" into the gallery space, becoming a creative locus for organising during the student strike.
